The bureau also announced that every game challenge is different from another, which requires a student-built robot to maneuver, stack and pick up, pegs, cubes and blocks around a field for scoring as many points as it is possible. More than just an exercise in driving robots and programming, the robots will be turned to engaging and interesting hands-on sport by all the tech savvy students which will be fascinating to watch. All the teams will work together; however, display the skills of their robots individually in both autonomous skills and driver-controlled competition.

In this competition, all the student teams will be given tasks that include building and designing of a robot to play against other teams in a game-based engineering challenge from around the world. According to sponsors, this competition will help the students in learning how to work efficiently in teams, how to better communicate and skills of leadership.

The Robotics Education & Competition Foundation and the Northrop Grumman Foundation present the VEX Worlds event.
