We received multiple requests about XMTVCast not allowing display to be turned off during stream casting. And who will look at 5 or 10 inch screen when there is 50 inch super-duper LED TV on the wall? This is just a waste of battery power. As you know we are always value the opinion of our users and every time we can help we are doing our best to fulfill user requests. Now we are happy to inform you that there is a new version of XMTVCast in which this issue is now fixed. XMTVCast now runs as a service in background and can happily will continue casting when display is turned off or device is switched to another app. Not only this, but in the new version we fixed some annoying compatibility issues in HLS (m3u8) support and added italian translation (which is not perfect for sure, if you find a mistake just let us know).
