implementing "host links"..?

Hi dear support and thank you for the great work you’ve done on XMTV Player
I would love if you could possibly consider adding this very interesting feature (and maybe better it making it possible also from m3u playlists):

Host links are those which not link directly to a video file but a website, that belongs to a video hosting’s server (host), where the playback is done.
Example:

To load these kind of links we’ll have to add the same fields as in the direct links, plus 2 extra fields.
“isHost“: “true” (To indicate a Wiseplay we want to load a Host link)
“referer“: If a video is protected and configured to play exclusively from a determined website, we enter here the permitted link.

Hi there i might be wrong but WebView does have it already and you can make stand alone app, even as a plugin combined together, have a look on weebtv plugin sample. You have already webview method as an autorisation.
Try this way if it helps. If you need further assistance let me know.

What you need is simple parser for Json, and Api hosted somewhere else online. So you can add/remove links.

What you think will be better to embed WebView to play Vimeo & Dailymotion videos, or play direct with internal xmtv player?

what I wanted to explain is a feature (which is also in Wiseplay) that if a link

example:

is not direct but hosts the playable link:

(this link can’t be played by XMTV Player because of the “pk=” key.. but this is another story)

can be played anyway by Wiseplay only having this informations:

#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:-1,CH 5

http://janjua.tv/embedplayer/trymobilech5/3/550/380

referrer=http://hostingtv.org/Ch5.php
isHost=true

so it will extract and play the rtmpOPT link
is it possible to implement this also in XMTV Player?

Hi maxim, did you ever tried to play this link in any other app SimpleTV or Vlc?

I am not sure how to implement it to get actual parameters to make this wise video playable?

If you have found the way please share with us.

I have installed viseplay and i am able to download list but how did You play over viseplay?

Its not english, and its hard for me to find a play function…

Mentioned links will be able to be played with following syntax in m3u playlist
httphost://$http-raw=$http-refferer=

also you will be able to play in rtmp://$OPT:rtmp-raw= way (you must just keep pk parameters in playpath)

Some ideas you could consider in the future are sopcast and acestream links and the compatibility with “group title” m3u lists,
here are some examples:

Regarding acestream, I make some tests, but after all, there is some issues with connection. If you have some experience with it, it will be great if you can help me.

I’ve tested the new version and host links are working perfectly with and without referrer, also better than Wiseplay, good job!
also I had no doubts about it
and about acestream links sorry but I haven’t any experience, I only know that Slim TV (on Play Store) and maybe Wiseplay can play them, if that can help you in any way

New version 2.0.9.6.9.3 is just rollout, there is some fixed issues from Alpha release.
