Growth in cloud and AI played the main role in these results. CEO Satya Nadella said the company is just starting to see the impact of AI on finansial results.

Microsoft bought Nokia Devices & Services in 2014. Two years later it was sold as phone business to Foxconn’s FIH Mobile and HMD Global. Now HMD Global licenses the Nokia brand for mobile devices.

As we know Windows 10 was released in July 2015 but support ended on October 14, 2025. Support for Windows 10 Mobile ended earlier - on December 10 2019.

As a result Microsoft continues to focus on cloud and AI. The December 2025 quarter showed steady growth beyond its older device business.
